We highly recommend Park Ridge Retreat. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and well appointed. It is in a quiet but central part of town - and an short walk to amazing scenic views, restaurants and shops. The managers, Brian and Kirstene were so friendly and helpful and enhanced our stay.

We stayed at Park Ridge for 2 nights as we had a Wedding in Gerringong. We were very happy with our accommodation. Clean, comfortable and easy access to town centre. We did not need to take out car from undercover for the whole time we were there. We were very impressed how quiet the environment was and had a great sleep both nights! We will definitely stay again when visiting this area again. Brian was awesome on front desk and staff were all very friendly. Well done Park Ridge Retreat!

Our 3 day stay at Partridge Retreat was more than wonderful. We loved the position of the hotel in the centre of Gerringong in NSW with many restaurants and nice shops on walking distance and beautiful beaches and views nearby. The rooms are spacious, well maintained and clean. Everything in this hotel made us realise that so much love and care the managers/owners have put in here to create an unique and interesting place to stay. We felt so welcome. This really felt like: “ being home away from home” We hope to come again in the future and explore more of this beautiful area, and of ourse: stay in Parkridge Retreat.

We made a last minute decision to go away for a couple of nights on the Australia Day long weekend and checked multiple towns on the Central Coast and South Coast for availability. I could see availability at Park Ridge Retreat and called the number. Even though it was after 6.30pm, Brian answered and was very obliging to confirm details that a family of five needs to know and lock in our booking. The interconnecting rooms were a perfect set up for us with 3 single beds in one room for the kids and a queen bed in the other room for us parents, which gave us the space we needed with the benefit of two bathrooms and the interconnecting door being wide open so the kids could come and go. The rooms were clean and comfortable, bar fridge well stocked and the complex is perfectly located across the park from shops and a 15 min walk to the beach. Kristene also went the extra mile for us when my daughter had an accident, quickly helping me locate an excellent nearby medical centre and very kindly washing her t shirt. We very much appreciated the care and warmth that Kristene and Brian demonstrated for us and other guests throughout our stay. Gerringong is a charming little town that retains its village feel and is so close to Kiama, Gerroa/Seven Mile Beach and Berry for further exploring.

From the moment we made our booking Brian was more than helpful going above and more to make our booking and stay as carefree and comfortable as possible. From the moment we entered the reception we were greeted by Kirstene who is as lovely as her husband Brian. The hotel is beautifully decorated, our room was adequate for one night, extremely clean and smelt beautiful. We would stay again and highly recommend Park Ridge which is very convenient in the middle of town close to cafe's and beaches. Thank you again to Brian and Kirstene.

This is the 8th year we have stayed at the Park Ridge for our golfing weekend. It is has comfortable clean rooms. We find it an ideal location for local restaurants and attractions: Sea Vista for breakfast, Stoic Brewery for refreshment and Curries and Spirits for dinner. The Bowling club provides barefoot bowls, quality meals and a shuttle bus to the hotel. Golfers at Gerringong Golf club are rewarded with magnificent sea views, but hire a cart as it is hilly.

Absolutely magnificent 4 star motel!  My parents and I stayed here for one night and, the first thing that really amazed me was the views from the motel! You can see the hills, mountains and the town! Absolutely stunning and loved the early SUNRISE view! Beautiful sounds of nature, unique birds and so peaceful and quiet at night time! I also loved the outside decor and the corridor hallway, also the gardens and flowers as well as very own BBQ facilities outside the verandah! The room inside was very clean, spotless and especially the owners were so kind, gentle and friendly with us! They were even generous when we came inside and they asked if we need any help in getting our stuff from inside the car  I highly recommend you all to come here and definitely check out the views from the motel!

Location was ideal near the town centre with lots of cafes nearby. We enjoyed some lovely walks, a wine tasting and cheese platter at Two Figs Winery and a history talk at Coolangatta winery, both a short drive away. The resort was well maintained with beautiful artwork on the walls and books in the foyer made for a pleasant stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming which we greatly appreciated. I’m sure we will be back.

Cathy & I stayed on our way to Bermagui on the 23rd & again on our way back. On both occasions we were treated very well. I use a "walker" & we required a ground floor room & twin beds. Nothing was a problem & we enjoyed very comfortable rooms with all the local benefits of walking to food & views mentioned by others. A beautiful place to which we hope to return!!

Lovely and polite staff who were extremely accommodating! They went out their way to assist us from the moment we arrived. Highly recommend this accommodation for a quiet retreat. Close to everything, including Werri Beach and the main street in Gerringong. Off street parking and can accommodate 4wds. Clean, tidy and large sized room. The bed was insanely comfortable. The balcony and the view, delightful. Be aware that there may be up to four flights of stairs to navigate, so be sure to ask for ground floor if you require access. Very much enjoyed our relaxing weekend, would certainly return, thank you!!

This was our first stay at Park Ridge, and hopefully will not be our last. Centrally located in Gerringong with just a short walk to central to the shops. Park Ridge is tidy and comfortable with good amenities in the room along with plenty of space in the king room. The balcony was a bonus overlooking the rolling hill to the ocean. The dining room is open at night and the food is well priced and excellent.

Centrally located in Gerringong this is an ideal place to stay and use as a base to explore the beautiful surrounding area. Park Ridge is clean, comfortable and managers Kirstene and Brian very helpful. While there is no breakfast available at present ther are plenty of good options nearby. Sea Vista is our favourite. The dining room is open at night and the food is excellent. We have stayed at Park Ridge a number of times and is our place of choice to stay when in the area.

The Park Ridge Retreat is a delightful find in Gerringong. It is in a quiet location with local views; its rooms are large, comfortable and modern and the decor very tasteful with modern art. The restaurant was a highlight, offering delicious dinners with beautiful, fresh ingredients and contemporary cuisine. The Retreat is located in the heart of the town, allowing us to leave our vehicle behind in walking to restaurants and shops. I look forward to returning again.

If you are heading to Gerringong this the place to stay. It's location is central to all the beaches and local shops. The rooms have their own balcony, have great views and the house keeping was excellent. There is an outdoor BBQ area within a beautiful garden setting with shelter and a wooden table and bench seating

3rd Stay and will be back again, Excellent location in center of Gerringong close to shops, cafe's, bakery and restaurants. We stayed in the King Spa Rooms more for the great oceans and hills views than the spa bath but nice to have, perfect for a sunrise cup of tea or evening glass of sunset bubbles on the balcony with a little fresh seafood from nearby Kiama.

So much better than having to lie in bed to watch TV. Booked dinner at the in-house restaurant - what a pleasant surprise. Delicious food prepared by Liam (3 courses) with good variety and and great service. This was only a one night stay. Our next visit is already booked and will be longer. Highly recommended.

Well-facilitated room, effective layout, clean and spacious for three of us. Bathroom is clean and so thoughtful with a wooden shelves provided where I can organise my stuffs well. Plenty of towel hangers. It is super convenient that our room is at ground floor that we can park our car right outside our room. We can unload/load our stuffs easily. Moreover, there is a nice cafe just round the corner. I can enjoy my flat white while waiting for my girl to wake up in the morning. Staffs at reception are nice. Highly recommend this accommodation.

I had a wonderful week stay at the Park Ridge Retreat. It was the perfect place for me to stay in Gerringong (especially travelling solo)- I just loved it! Getting there by train from Sydney and without a car - it was central to everywhere I wanted to go, and in easy walking distance. Fiona and Shane work tirelessly to ensure their guests have the most comfortable stay, from the front desk to the restaurant - which was very convenient and a really pleasant place to eat. The whole place provided a wonderful retreat feel where you could really relax and enjoy the beautiful surrounds of the area. I highly recommend it and hope to be back there again soon!

My teenage son and I had a really brilliant stayover at the PR Retreat. The Family Annexe room was clean, well appointed and we had plenty of room and privacy. Great space for a family of four. Only issue with the single bedroom room for a teenager is there is no power point to plug in devices or a reading lamp, only overhead lighting. Also, there is a flue from the kitchen which is evident at the end of the balcony and makes a humming noise when in use from the kitchens below. We dined in the retreats restaurant on our stay in which the food and service was excellent. I would rate the retreat and the beautiful Gerringong as a five star destination. Thanks to all who made us very welcome!

The ground floor rooms at front are great for access from your car. There is no garden or outdoor courtyard at this hotel. The driveway has been nicely landscaped but it's not a garden. The road outside is screened off by the planting and is quiet. The rooms have a mini-fridge, toaster, kettle, tea and coffee making. Good wi-fi, TV, air-con. Good showers and hot water supply.

Construction next door was a little noisy at 7 a.m. in the morning. Restaurant was good at reasonable prices. Undercover and open air parking downstairs, not allocated could be a bit of a squeeze for large vehicles. The beach is quite close a couple of minute drive or you can walk it but it is quiet hilly. All in all a good place to stay in Gerringong and a great base for adventures to surrounding areas of which there are plenty to see. Highly recommended, would stay here again..

My daughter and I had lovely stay at Park Ridge. We had a twin share room on the 1st floor that looked out over the green rolling hills towards the ocean. The beds and pillows were super comfy, everything was spotless, and it was quiet. We had a wonderful dinner in the restaurant (last orders at 7.30pm) so you don’t want to miss out so go early. Our Food was really good, I loved the menu and not expensive. Shane was always helpful. Our stay was good value I thought and really relaxing. Definitely stay again. Thank you.

We weren’t graced with the greatest of weather ie it rained the whole time but being so close to everything made it easier. The on-site restaurant had delicious meals and room service for those late night desserts were perfect. Couldn’t fault our stay or the staff. All very lovely and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Only downside I would say is that the ergonomic chairs are just not comfortable for older people.

Shane and Fiona were the most efficient and gracious of hosts - nothing was too much trouble - and they went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. The Retreat is well-located in the centre of town and close to all amenities. The rooms are very clean, spacious and well-appointed. Meals are of a high standard. This is a gem of a motel and we have no hesitation in recommending it. We will be back!

THE place to stay when in Gerringong. Most shops in the town are walking distance from this place while Kiama, Bombo, Shoalhaven & Jervis Bay are all reachable in or under an hour from here. When booking, try to go for a balcony view facing south; you will receive super-dope views of spectacular South Coast coastline with rolling green pastures all simultaneously. Owners Shane & Fiona have been brilliant, knowledgeable & super friendly. Only let down is (other than a lift) is that no staying time here is never enough! The restaurant is awesome too - definitely worth checking out. And did I say the views were super-dope? Definitely coming back!

Several excellent wineries you can do for lunch or bruncht within 15 minute drive and good roads with little traffic. Good value. Totally recommend for seniors travelling around NSW.

You never know what to expect when you book via the internet sight unseen. We were however pleasantly surprised when we got there. The Front Desk Manager who was super friendly and efficient, gave us a choice of rooms which were spacious, clean, well furnished and with a very comfortable bed and pillows. The location of the hotel is great! Walking distance to a range of restaurants and cafes. We didn’t have to go out for breakfast which was served in our room at the time we selected and at a great price. Adequate basement parking rounded off a nice experience. We will definitely be back again.

Lots of computer outlets, good free internet. Appreciated tea/coffee making, small fridge and toaster. Enjoyed an excellent meal in the on-site restaurant. We particularly appreciated Shane, the Manager who was very personable, helpful and a delight to deal with. He even carried our bags upstairs as my husband had a back issue. Shane is a great ambassador for Park Ridge. We will certainly recommend this place and will book in here again.

We recently attended a wedding in Gerringong. We booked our accommodation at the Park Ridge Retreat in Gerringong. We booked a taxi an hour before we needed it as we had to be at the wedding at 2.30pm. At 2.15pm the taxi still had not arrived. The owner of the Park Ridge Retreat saw how anxious we were getting and he organised his family to take us to the wedding. What a relief. We wouldn't have made it if it wasn't for these wonderful owners. It's very rare to get service like that these days. The rooms were great and clean and I would highly recommend if you're ever visiting Gerringong this is the place to stay. 10 out of 10 for us!

The hotel has a secluded and relaxing position within walking distance to good cafes, the beach and whale watching platform. Our room was on the larger size for a hotel room with a balcony looking out to beautiful trees and the sea. We had a deep bath and nice products. We got a free bottle of wine on checking in. The hotel has its own restaurant. The owners are friendly. Plenty of car parking under the hotel so peace and quiet is maintained. We had a really enjoyable stay.

Our family of 5 had a great weekend at Park Ridge. We had the family room which had 2 bathrooms and an interconnected door. We had dinner in the upstairs restaurant and our waitress was extremely helpful for our fussy 3 kids. Our meals were of a high standard and did not disappoint. Park Ridge was well positioned in a quiet street with an easy walk to cafes and shops. Would definitely stay again and we had a great time. Thanks.

The lovely lady, I think she was a manager was so helpful, we had access to our room early and she even drove us to the station, we were going to Kiama for a concert. My son and I had such a lovely stay at the Park Ridge Retreat. It is situated in a convenient and beautiful spot in Gerringong. Our balcony overlooked the lush green hills, our view was like a painting! The room was so comfortable and cleaned daily which felt very luxurious. We enjoyed a yummy dinner at their restaurant, I highly recommend it! The staff were so friendly, and couldn't do enough for us, we were even driven to the train station on our departure. We will definitely be back :)

Just drove back to Newcastle from Tge South Coast. Our las night was at The Parkridge Reatreat in Gerringong. What a lovely stop it was for us after being on the road from Melbourne. I can easily say Parkridge Reatreat was the best of our stops. Comfortable room, clean bathroom and all in order. Food was also excellent not to forget the very helpfull stuff. Enjoyed the close proximity to cafes and shops and attended a lovely Christmas Day Mass at Star of the Sea. However, while the room was quite spacious and bed comfortable, we have never experienced the bathroom not being cleaned each day and sheets left unchanged for the entire 3 nights we stayed (while paying premium rates). This I did bring to the attention of the manager who actually made no apology for this unfortunate practice at the Park Ridge Retreat. We of course sadly will not be returning to this accommodation any time soon.

I can't say enough about this amazing hotel. The Manager/Owner was so kind and friendly and gave great advice to us regarding the area, we felt incredibly welcomed by him and he seemed to be everywhere, helping housekeeping staff carry linens up the stairs, helping serve in the restaurant. The sign of a great Manager, is one who can help on the front line and be in touch with his staff and the challenges they face, I was so impressed with him. The in-house restaurant served beautiful food with a great atmosphere, the room itself was spotlessly clean and facilities were perfect with a lot of attention to detail. My husband and i enjoyed ourselves so much that we are considering moving to the Gerringong/Kiama area! Well done to all of the staff, i have already recommended Park Ridge Retreat to so many of my friends.

We had dinner on the first night, and following that we end up extending our holidays for another three nights. It has been the most restful and pleasant stay we had somewhere out of Sydney for long time. The staff, food, cleanness and the location were all just perfect. Once again we had the good fortune to have two nights with our son and grandson and once again it was a perfect stay. Moshe was available to make us feel like family and we enjoyed being shown new up-graded rooms done to perfection. The rooms are very clean and attractive, beds and pillows are very comfortable and we could find nothing to disappoint us. Our son was also very impressed and after returning home our grandson made the comment "I really enjoyed the weekend and I hope we can go again" (12 years old). We stayed at the Park Ridge for two nights and it was a great find. Location is ideal being right in the centre of town and opposite a park. Supermarket and shops are within easy walking distance. Communication with management was excellent as was their knowledge of the town. Our room - a king suite on the third floor was spacious, spotlessly clean and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was large and though I am not a fan of the water saving shower heads I understand the need for them. The AC worked well on a very cold weekend. Our room faced south and had a good view out towards the ocean and there was absolutely no noise. We had room service both nights and the food was excellent, well priced and arrived at the time indicated. We will go back to Gerringong and will definitely stay here.

We had been stuck in holiday traffic and I remembered this place from about 15 years ago so we left the road in the middle of Gerringong and there was a room available.
The owners have created a gorgeous place that was comfortable enough to stay in and central enough to move around from.
We ate at the restaurant for dinner and breakfast; for in-house food, it was really good. I'd eat there even if we didn;t stay.
This little town is gorgeous and the swimming beach is very special with good waves and lots of spaces for small kids to muck around.

We recently stayed in room 14 for 2 nights with our 11 months old son. 

Our room was originally allocated on the bottom floor with the view of the garden and visitors parking at the front entrance of the retreat. But we were so glad that we had the option to chose another room located on the second floor (room14), generous size balcony, great view overlooking the ocean and the hills. The room size was spacious, enough for our son to wonder around happily. Clean sheets and good size bathroom. The only downfall was that the tiles in the bathroom/shower was very slippery when wet. The room smelt heavenly and the bed was comfy, although I found the that pillows weren't as comfortable to rest my head on, however, my partner found it very comfortable.

The food at the restaurant was delicious and had really good service. We liked that we could sit out on the balcony during dinner service as it made us felt more comfortable to dine away from other guests with our tired and whinging 11 months old son.

We really enjoyed our stay. We felt refreshed and relaxed. We look forward to our return.

Have just returned from 4 days in gerringong . The Park Ridge Retreat is a perfect spot .The manager was very friendly and amicable . The accommodation meet our expectations . Bed was comfortable,room and bathroom spotless,and very peaceful . Ideal for a quiet getaway . Cannot find a single fault am looking forward to returning.
